About us

Four of us, one rule: always say yes.

The best parts of the last four years have all come from agreeing to something we had not planned — a wedding in a village we were passing through, a fishing boat at five in the morning, a bus going the wrong way with two kids asleep on our shoulders.

How we travel

Slow, cheap, and led by the kids half the time.

We write the version we wish we had read before going: what it cost, what it was actually like with children, and whether it was worth the detour. No sponsors, no affiliate lists — just what we would book again.

Most trips are booked a week out, paid for in cash, and rerouted the moment someone hears about a better bus. If a place is good, we stay. If a plan falls apart, that usually becomes the story.
